Science Camp

I spent all of last week in the mountains with 70 5th graders at camp Koinonia for science camp! It was lots of fun! I love to be able to connect with my kids in a different way. Here's a few pictures, and the long awaited video. :)

Getting ready to go!

Having way too much fun on the high ropes course.I kept trying to shake the wire and make them fall off :)
Inside grandmother tree :)
Taking a break on the challenge trail.

Going to miss these girls!!

On the last night of camp, every cabin has to make up a song, poem or rap. This year, I helped write a science camp version of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance." It's pretty hilarious, gotta say. :) I personally love the back up dancers(teachers from the other school). lol

It's been forever since I have blogged. Life has been doesn't seem to be slowing down, either. Usually when life gets too busy, I feel a little farther from God. I'm at that point right now, which results in life being very frustrating. I just want to get my thoughts out, I promise a more positive post with pictures will be next :)

I'm frustrated that ...

I am gone most of April...even if it is for fun things.
I haven't lost more weight.
what I do, never seems to be enough.
when I seem to be doing well in training or weight loss, another medical issue comes up.
my job isn't secure.
I'm frustrated with being single.
I've lost touch with some people I care about this year.
a significant amount of people don't understand this transition time I'm in.
there never seems to be enough money.
I can't seem to let go of some things.
I don't see my dad ever.
my car is never clean.

Some of those are small things, and others bigger, but in the end, I know I have a God who takes care of them all. Thanks for caring enough to read my venting. :)
